VOTER REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Online

Online application website: voter.utah.gov

  • A valid driver's license number is required.
  • Voters' residence address must match the records of the driver license division to be eligible to submit registration electronically.

  • Registrations received 15 days or more before the election are eligible for Early Voting.
  • Registrations received between 7 and 14 days prior to the election are eligible to vote on Election Day only.

In Person

Paper forms available at the Clerk/Auditor's office. Individuals may now bring in forms on behalf of others after the 30 day deadline, i.e. registration drives, on behalf of family members, etc.

  • Registrations received 15 days or more before the election are eligible for Early Voting.
  • Registrations received between 8 and 14 days prior to the election are eligible to vote on Election Day only.

Driver's License Division

Opt-in box checked on the driver license application.

Must be received by the Elections Office 7 days or more prior to an election and be dated 30 days prior to the election. May be eligible for Early Voting.

By Mail

Form can be downloaded and printed from http://www.co.weber.ut.us/Clerk_Auditor/Election/.

Registration forms must be received 30 calendar days or more prior to the election.

Public Assistance Agency

Distributed by Utah agencies that provide public assistance or services to people with disabilities.

Must be received by the Elections Office 7 days or more prior to an election and be dated 30 days prior to the election. May be eligible for Early Voting.

There are now more ways than ever to register to vote:

1.  Qualified persons may register electronically online at voter.utah.gov. If you have a Utah driver license, your on-line application can be submitted to our office electronically.  Please use the link below:

 

2.  Qualified persons can register in person in the Weber County Clerk/Auditor’s Office, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. If submitted 15 days or more before the next election, voter will be eligible for Early Voting. If submitted between 8 and 14 days before the next election, voter will only be eligible for voting on Election Day.

3.  Qualified persons may also register to vote by submitting a by-mail application form. The form must be completed and signed by the applicant. The applicant can mail or deliver the form to the County Clerk/Auditor’s Office. If mailed, the application must be postmarked no later than 30 days prior to the date of the next election.

4.  Qualified persons may register to vote when applying for or renewing a driver license. The Driver License Division will assist applicants in completing the form and will transmit the completed forms to the Weber County Clerk/Auditor Office.  The 30-day registration deadline applies to these registrants.
