Notice of a Regular Commission Meeting of the Board Of County Commissioners

of Weber County, Utah PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Commissioners of Weber County, Utah will hold a regular commission meeting in the Commission Chambers of the Weber Center, 2380 Washington Boulevard, Ogden, Utah, commencing at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, the 28th day of April 2015.

The agenda for the meeting consists of the following:

E.         Presentation

 

            1.         Presentation of Weber County Hero Award.

                        Presenter: Commissioner Ebert

 

            2.         Presentation of the on the services that the Weber/Morgan

                        Health Department provides and promotes for the community

                        living in Weber County.

                        Presenter: Brian Bennion

 

            3.         Presentation of the State of the County.

                        Presenter: Commissioner Gibson

 

F.         Consent Items

 

            1.         Request for approval of purchase orders in the amount of

                        $85,691.

            2.         Request for approval of warrants #320416- #320769 in the

                        amount of $4,657,166.65.

            3.         Request for approval of minutes for the meeting held on April 21,

                        2015.

            4.         Request for approval of a new business license.

            5.         Request for approval of  the following contracts by and between

                        Weber County and Farr West City for Recreation, Arts, Museums

                        and Parks grants:

                    Farr West City- Smith Family Recreation & Sports Park

                    Farr West City- Smith Family Recreation Park Horse Riding Arena

 

G.         Action Items

 

            1.         Consideration for adoption of an amendment to an Assessment

                        Ordinance relating to the Summit Mountain Assessment Area.

            2.         First reading of the updated Conflict of Interest Ordinance 2.9.1h.

            3.         Request for approval of an Ordinance of Weber County adding

                        certain fees to the Weber County Fee Ordinance relating to the

                        Sheriff’s Office.

                        Presenter: Steffani Ebert

          4.       Request for approval of a first reading of an Ordinance of Weber

                         County making certain changes to the Weber County Fee

                         Ordinance relating to County Parks.

                         Presenter: Jim Harvey

 

           5.         Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber

                        County and Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music for the 3rd Annual

                        Roots & Blues Festival to be held at the North Fork Park on

                        August 21-23, 2015.

            6.         Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber

                        County and Ogden Friends of Acoustic Music for the 8th Annual

                        Ogden Music Festival to be held at Fort Buenaventura on May

                        29-31, 2015.

          7.         Request for approval of a contract by and between Weber

                        County and American Long Rifle Association to hold ALRA

                        Meetings and Range Days on various days through 2015.
