The Weber-Morgan Health Department is currently seeking volunteers to participate on the Department's Air Quality Advisory Committee. This committee was created for the purpose of advising and counseling the Board and the Health Department with citizen and expert input, in regard to current rules and policies, new technology, and to advise on other specific issues related to air quality.
The Board is currently looking for stakeholder representation from Major Source and Small Business Emitting Industry, Environmental and Consumer Groups, Air Monitoring Technology Industry, and Weber County Citizens.
Volunteers need to commit to meeting attendance. The group meets quarterly for approximately two hours, or more often as the need arises. Meetings are usually held at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays.
