Tower Status

The Mount Ogden sighting tower which has been utilized for a number of years as a basis of bearing IS NOW GONE.

There are now 3 towers in place of the old one.  The Southern most tower has been surveyed to replace the old sighting tower location.

The NAD27 coordinates are as follows:  X=1895043.2 Y=315963.1

Little Mountain Tower

The tower on Little Mountain is currently not standing and is not usable due to G.P.S. activities of the monument.  In this work it has been learned that this location is not conducive to GPS observations, possibly due to micro-wave interference.  At present it is not anticipated to replace the tower.  But if you have utilized it or have a significant need to use it you can contact us with the e-mail links below and let us know of your situation.
