Maps

This office has recovered or established Elevation Bench Control in Weber County.  The elevation datum system is based on NGVD29.  We have two maps available, one for the Lower Valley and the other for the Upper (Ogden) Valley.  The maps are in compressed .tif format which AutoCAD 14 ™ can load as a raster image. 
NOTE:  Most printers are capable of printing raster images, however, pen plotters and some ink jet plotters are not capable of printing a raster image. 

Description Files

Along with the maps are monument descriptions which contain the vital statistics of each monument, such as:   information which can be used to locate the monument, the construction of the monument, the agency responsible for the instillation of the monument, and the record elevation of the monument.  This data can be obtained as either Wordperfect 8 format or in standard ASCII dos text format.  The data file contains the descriptions for every elevation mark that this office has record of in a single file.
